PLE was started by owner, Julie Suk in an effort to bring quality back to English Learning.  She has developed special techniques and acquired tools in her 15 years of teaching experience to establish a language centre that stands out from the crowd of Language schools.  The biggest challenge for teachers is to increase the level of confidence for students looking to improve their English.  Our team has honed the skill of providing a safe and comfortable environment so the students become confident.

Interactive Teaching

Professionally-trained (hyphenated), experienced, and dynamic trainers: Instructors at PLE are not just teachers, theyare facilitators. This means that teachers ensure learners are engaged and motivated in class.  Emphasis is placed on interaction. We put learners in everyday work and/or life situations (using role-plays (hyphenated) debates, and other methods for practical learning). It is not enough to learn grammar points and vocabulary. The most efficient way to improve a language is to effectively apply what is learned to everyday conversation.

Tailor-made classes

We customize our training for successful English learning in a fun, (no comma necessary, unless you want to have them hear a pause when reading it) yet professional environment. The classes are personalized to fit the needs of each individual learner.

Evaluation and follow up

Ensure (missing the ‘E’) that learners are engaged and motivated in class, and emphasis is placed on interaction. We put learners in everyday work and/or life situations (using roleplays, debates, and other methods for practical learning). It is not enough to learn grammar points and vocabulary. The quickest way to improve a language is to effectively apply what is learned to everyday conversation.  (this is almost exactly the same as my suggested new paragraph in ‘Interactive Teaching’, and so needs to say something else, something new).

All lessons are carefully planned in advance, using relevant and up to date program material for maximum learning.  We take pride in our teaching programs and do the work to keep material current and relevant to learners’ needs.  Our teaching programs have a proven track record of delivering optimal results.

We use a combination of textbooks and supplementary material that have proven to be successful. We go the extra mile to give quality instruction that is comprehensive and relevant.  We are constantly on the look out for quality and updated material/teaching tools for superior language training.  With our material and teaching tools, students will learn to:
